~Dundee City Council~ will be the lead council for the newly-formed Tayside Community Justice Authority (CJA). There will be eight CJAs across Scotland with Dundee, Angus and Perth & Kinross councils forming one such authority. Each will be made up of elected members from the constituent local authorities, supported by a chief officer. The Scottish Executive initiative has been set up to reduce re-offending in Scotland.
