A five-strong Dutch delegation has visited Cheshire East Council to learn how local authorities provide day services, and to gain understanding into how the UK funds adult social care.
Employees from Gemiva-SVB Groep Foundation, in Gouda, spent a five-day tour prompted by the Dutch Government's decision to shift social care responsibility from central government to local councils, similar to the UK model.
