The leader of Cheshire West and Chester Council has warned the local economy will shrink without private sector help.
Speaking at a conference last week, Cllr Mike Jones, said: ‘It is recognised that as the public sector economic contribution reduces, it is vital that there is compensating growth in the private sector to avoid an overall shrinkage of West Cheshire's economy.'
