Two global technology giants have revealed successes in an IT transformation programme. BT, in collaboration with Microsoft, has successfully replaced technology systems for Edinburgh City Council. Implemented in just two years, the council has achieved a net benefit of £5m in direct IT costs alone with total savings over five years estimated at £6.4m.
