Sarah Howard, head of public sector assurance at accountancy firm Grant Thrornton has topped the poll of the Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy's 2013/14 council elections.
First elected to council in 2011 Ms Howard secured 1,118 votes and was re-elected as the council's representative for the statutory external audit sector.
