Embedding good health

This year marks the 10th anniversary of the transfer of the Healthy Child Programme (HCP) for 0-5-year-olds from the NHS, including the commissioning of health visitors and school nurses.

The transfer marked the final part of the overall public health transfer in England, which took place in April 2013.
