The managing director of renewable energy provider Myriad CEG Power, Phil McVan, has called on councils to support the sector after Lincolnshire CC voted in favour of limiting the number of wind farms across the county.
‘Creating almost a blanket ban on wind turbines may win votes, but it's not going to help reduce carbon emissions and I think most people recognise this,' said Mr McVan.
