The post-May 7 political arithmetic of the city regions leaves delivery on devolution ‘immeasurably harder to achieve', a sector expert has said.

Writing in The MJ, economic development specialist David Marlow highlighted that Reform UK won more than half (51%) of the seats contested in whole-council elections held within the boundaries of the six integrated settlement mayoral combined authorities.
