Omega Plastics and Propipe Ltd have become the first businesses to take advantage of the newly-created Tees Valley Enterprise Zone.
The two firms have both moved into units at Queens Meadow Business Park in Hartlepool, and will qualify for business rate relief for the next five years. ‘Jobs and the local economy remain a priority for the council and it's pleasing that we have been able to attract two companies to the zone,' said Hartlepool Council's acting chief executive, Nicola Bailey.
