You will be responsible and accountable for managing the Councils environmental services covering services such as waste management, street scene, cemeteries, dog warden and allotments. You will be the Councils lead professional and technical advisor on all aspects of the services. Forward planning, policy and strategy development and financial management will be areas that hold no fear for you. A highly articulate, confident and effective communicator, you will be comfortable operating in all environments. This will include the full political spectrum, management, teams and partnerships alongside the high profile customer interface for these front-line services. As an excellent team leader you will develop and guide your staff on their continued change journey and ensure that the highest standards of customer service and contract management are delivered. .
