Ernst and Young has been appointed by Glasgow City Council as its adviser on infrastructure planning for the 2014 Commonwealth Games. The firm will work with the council over the next three years on the procurement and management of more than £800m worth of capital projects. ‘Ernst and Young is well placed to fulfil this role, having worked extensively with public sector organisations in Scotland on capital projects and urban regeneration,' said head of Scottish government services, Jeff Thornton.
