The economic growth strategy at Essex CC is still due to be pushed forward following statistics revealing the area has seen a reduction in unemployment.
The strategy aims to support businesses to make them grow, and includes an opportunity for stand space at the East of England pavilion at the China Import Expo in China's Jiangsu Province. Cabinet member for economic growth, Cllr Kevin Bentley, said: 'Our economic growth strategy will respond to those challenges and sow the seeds to unlock growth now.'
