Bride fights for her man ‘Tis the season to be jolly, fa la la la!' As we enter the festive season, it's usually a time for sober reflection on the year gone by and an attempt to bring peace and goodwill to all men, women and Diary columnists. The problem is, some folk just don't get the ‘peace and goodwill' bit. And doesn't poor Allen Herve, a council CCTV operator from Bromley know it? Allen had planned a festive wedding last weekend, only to see his new wife, Amy, hauled off for a night in police cells after she allegedly attacked one of their wedding guests on her big day. Reportedly, Amy was attempting to protect the groom from being attacked and got her revenge in early. But it meant her wedding night was spent away from her new hubby. Thankfully, for all concerned, once tempers had calmed down the injured party decided not to press charges. And, eventually, there was peace. It is said the parties involved are still working on the goodwill bit. Happy Christmas, MJ readers. It can't be more eventful than this wedding night, surely?
