Shadow local government secretary James Cleverly has called for measures that would strengthen the sector's ‘accountability and transparency to the press and public'.
Cleverly has been lobbying for the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government to increase transparency under the next round of the UK National Action Plan for Open Government.
