Slough BC managing director commissioner Will Tuckley is expected to step down, The MJ understands.
Tuckley's replacement will be a ministerial appointment but is understood to be Dave Smith, who currently holds the same position at Thurrock Council, which has just announced the appointment of former Dorset CC boss Debbie Ward as its chief.
