Bridgend CBC's newly-appointed chief executive, Jo Farrar, has confirmed she is expecting a baby and will take maternity leave shortly. 'I am delighted that Bridgend CBC has been so supportive and I am currently discussing maternity arrangements with the leader, cabinet and colleagues,' she said. A council spokesman said the council fully supported the new chief executive.
