Housing minister, Yvette Cooper, said there would be no extra money for Camden LBC to bring council homes up to a decent standard. In a letter to council leader, Keith Moffitt, Ms Cooper said all councils must either opt to transfer homes out of local authority control, or deliver decent homes from the resources they had available.
