Farcical PCC vote

Political commentators have described the forthcoming PCC elections as 'farcical'.

Political commentators have described the forthcoming Police and Crime Commissioner (PCC) elections as ‘farcical', after another candidate withdrew after admitting to a 44-year-old minor offence.

The withdrawal of Phil Dilks follows the exits of Bob Ashford, who had Whitehall security clearance but was told he could not stand because of a 46-year-old offence.
