Concern has been raised about how the Government's new housing scheme will assist first-time buyers in London.
London Councils has welcomed the move, but said at least 75% of the entire £250m budget had to go to the capital to be successful. London Councils executive member for housing, Lewisham mayor Sir Steve Bullock, said: ‘The pot must be seen in the context of the capital's high housing prices.'
