A survey by Capita has revealed that many council staff are not confident about the quality of the data they hold on children.

A survey by outsourcing giant Capita has revealed that many council staff are not confident about the quality of the data they hold on children and young people.

The survey, which was conducted at a recent conference organised by the firm, found that while 94% of workers were confident about the information they had on five to 14-year-olds, 41% lacked confidence in the data available on children aged from birth to age five.
