Feeling of influence drops, Government survey finds

The proportion of adults who believe they can personally influence decisions affecting their area dropped to 24% in 2024-25, a Government survey has found.

The proportion of adults who believe they can personally influence decisions affecting their area dropped to 24% in 2024-25, a Government survey has found.

A commentary accompanying official statistics said the proportion between 2013-14 and 2021-22 (25% to 28%) had been ‘consistently higher than it is currently'.
