Efforts to improve financial management by staff in Northern Ireland's public sector were recognised last week.
Alan Shannon, permanent secretary at the Department for Employment and Learning, presented certificates to students working in the sector at an awards ceremony held by the Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy. He said: ‘Skills attainment is essential for growth in the economy.'
