Local government minister Bob Neill has signed off a draft ‘heads of agreement' deal over the future firefighters' pension scheme.
Mr Neill told senior delegates at last week's MJ Forum he had effectively agreed the parameters of the new scheme, which will launch in 2015, before travelling to Warwickshire.
