Firm is a perfect fit Swansea CC has appointed Laing O’Rourke to undertake the construction work on its £32m fitness arena project, the largest in Wales. Main construction works are due to start late this summer, with a completion date set for December 2007. High praise for DC DC Leisure, the company in charge of the day-to-day management of Suffolk Coastal DC’s leisure centres has been highly commended by the council. The partnership was set up two years ago and created the Suffolk Coastal Community Leisure Association resulting, according to the council, in immediate savings of almost £350,000 a year for the authority.
