Big pay days for IT firms from public sector contracts are over, business chiefs have been told by the Government.

Speaking at a summit of the Government's key suppliers, Cabinet Office minister Francis Maude said he wanted to open up the procurement market to smaller firms. Representatives of some of Britain's largest contractors, including BT, IBM and CapGemini, attended the summit.
