Fix the flawed children's funding formula

London boroughs had to overspend their children's social care budgets by £150m each year for the past two years to keep up with rising demand.

Imagine the surprise then, when the Government's proposed funding formula concluded London's children's services needs share had decreased by 40%. As a result, London Councils estimates London boroughs' funding share for children's services could decrease by £1.5bn.
