The use of flexible working in the public sector could lead to £1.4bn in cost savings and productivity gains, a new report finds.
The Flex Factor, published by think tank RSA and Vodafone UK, finds there is a statistical link between adopting flexible working and organisational performance. Even though local government is a high adopter of flexible working, it calls for a strategic approach to increase its adoption through the rest of the public sector.
