Former Leicester City Council chief executive, Sheila Lock, this week lost a judicial review over her dismissal.
After hearing the case at the High Court in Leeds, Judge Roger Kaye QC, rejected claims that Ms Lock's dismissal last year was unlawful and not in accordance with local government procedures.
