Urban Forum chair, Ed Cox, has become a special adviser to communities secretary, Hazel Blears. Mr Cox has now stood down from the national membership charity which helps community and voluntary groups involved in regeneration. Urban Forum chief executive, Toby Blume, said: ‘The empowerment agenda has been placed firmly at the centre of CLG's policy-making, and yet there remain numerous challenges at national and local levels. I am certain Ed's advice will be hugely helpful to the secretary of state.'
