Westminster City Council has reached an agreement with Associated Newspapers and News International to help recycle free newspapers in the borough. The two publishers will each buy and install around 40 recycling bins in Westminster, recycle all the contents and organise regular litter collections. ‘I'm very pleased that both publishers have agreed to help tackle the problem of newspaper litter voluntarily,' said cabinet member for street environment, Cllr Alan Bradley.
