The recruitment crisis for under-pressure section 151 officers is destined to get worse, a local government adviser with around 25 years of public sector experience has warned.

As reported by The MJ last month, an increasing number of s151s are understood to be moving to interim roles, where they can command premium rates of as much as £2,000 per day for such a high risk and stressful role.
