A Chinese-themed ‘friendship’ garden has been opened in the grounds of Halton Council’s town hall. The garden was designed and created by 2020 Knowsley, a joint venture between Knowsley MBC, 2020 Liverpool, and Mouchel Parkman – which holds the contract to manage the council’s grounds. The garden was formally opened by the mayor of Halton, John Swain, and Manchester’s Chinese consul general, Gong Jianzhong.
