Strike action threatened this autumn by staff working for Fujitsu could affect the payment of tax benefits and the production of driving licences.
Some 720 back office IT staff working on contracts for HM Revenue and Customs, the Home Office, Ministry of Defence, the Office for National Statistics and Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency, were balloted by the Public and Commercial Services union on the firm's pay offer of between 1.5% and 2.5%.
