Small businesses in Fife are set to benefit from the opening of the Fife Investment Fund, which will provide financial support. Administered on behalf of Fife Council by the Small Business Gateway Fife, the fund will be open to applications from businesses with up to 50 employees. Applications can be made for plant and machinery and training to use the machinery, property improvements, product development, process improvements and market development. The fund will provide repayable grants and loan funds instead of straight grants.
