Southwark film-makers will premiere their work this week at the prestigious British Film Institute on the South Bank. As part of a Southwark LBC-funded project, residents were encouraged to produce films about issues in their community such as alcoholism, racism and anti-social behaviour. The council's executive member for community safety, Cllr Jeff Hook, said: ‘Making sure people have a voice is an extremely important responsibility for this council.'
