The chief executive of NHS Confederation has said Integrated Care Boards (ICBs) are ‘doomed' unless national thinking changes.
Matthew Taylor told The MJ's Future Forum in Harrogate that the current situation in the NHS saw commissioners, in the form of ICBs, telling providers to cut back on certain services which created tensions that risked remaining unresolved until central government concluded commissioners should be abolished.
