Games victory for Isle of Wight The Isle of Wight has been named as host for the prestigious 2011 Island Games. Cllr Andy Sutton, leader of Isle of Wight Council, said: ‘This is the result of a culmination of months of hard work between the council and the Isle of Wight Island Games Association.’ The team beat off competition from Bermuda in the final vote.
