£11.5bn for Scottish authorities

The Scottish Government confirmed its 2012-13 financial settlement to local government on 9 February, worth some £11.5bn.

The Scottish Government confirmed its 2012-13 financial settlement to local government on 9 February, worth some £11.5bn, and providing councils with the cash to freeze council tax and maintain police and teacher numbers.

Councils will be given total revenue funding of £10.9bn and support for capital expenditure of almost £0.6bn.
