Ministers have confirmed councils can expect to share £160m in funding over the next two years to tackle homelessness.

Ministers have confirmed councils can expect to share £160m in funding over the next two years to tackle homelessness.

Continuing until the end of this Parliament, Homelessness Prevention Grants will be available to people faced with the prospect of homelessness. Support on offer includes rent deposit schemes helping homeless people secure accommodation in the private rented sector, mediation services to help prevent relationship breakdown, and outreach services helping rough sleepers find accommodation.
