Beleaguered support services group, Mouchel, has secured a £170m refinancing deal as the takeover bids mount up.

But City investors have already warned they expect the firm's takeover to go ahead. The company, which has partnerships with several leading authorities, including Liverpool City Council and Middlesbrough Council, announced last week it had signed new facilities two months earlier than expected.
