The Scottish Government this week unveiled plans to develop a £20m early intervention fund to support voluntary groups working with children, young people and their families.

Leading children's charity 4Children celebrated the announcement, with chief executive Anne Longfield describing the fund – which will developed over the next two years – as a step forwards to ‘effective joined up working'.
