Croydon LBC has announced it stands to gain up to £2.5m from the Government's payment-by-results scheme to help transform 650 troubled families living in the borough.
The money is in addition to £1.5m already budgeted to solve deep-rooted family problems, and a further 135 families are already being targeted under the European Social Fund.
