The Greater Manchester Combined Authority (GMCA) has met for the first time since it was placed on a statutory footing.
The GMCA involves collaboration across 10 local authorities in the Greater Manchester area, and is designed to co-ordinate economic growth plans and transport schemes in ways which reflect the locality's single labour market and ‘travel to work' areas.
