Go waste Somerset CC’s waste education team is celebrating after notching up its 1,000th visit to schools to talk rubbish. Programme manager for Somerset Waste Action Programme (SWAP), Rupert Farthing, said: ‘We are delighted to pass the landmark number. It shows that schools not only invite SWAP in to talk about recycling but they also invite us back again – and again.’
