Ahead of the Chancellor’s Budget Statement on Wednesday (20 March) the government has published its official response to Lord Heseltine’s growth review (“No Stone Unturned in pursuit of growth”). Ministers have accepted 81 of the 89 recommendations put forward (either in full or part), rejected five - and will look further at the remaining three during the forthcoming Spending Review.
