Kent CC and Gravesham BC are holding a Dragon's Den-style ‘grab a grant' day next weekend. Residents are being asked to choose from 10 organisations pitching for a share of £16,700 of funding for local projects. Alex King, deputy leader of Kent CC, said: ‘This money is for projects close to home, helping as many as possible. ‘Who better than the people of Gravesend to make decisions about how much goes where?'
