The fallout from a bungled election announcement at Nelson Town Council in Lancashire is finally over.
Julie Green stood for the Conservatives at the May elections, but, despite securing the most votes in her ward, the returning officer wrongly declared her Labour rival Patricia Hannah-Wood the winner.
