Enfield LBC has become the first council in England and Wales to use a court ‘call in' programme to warn gang members about the consequences of their lifestyles.
Known gang members attended Wood Green Crown Court, in north London, this week, and listened to experts from the judiciary, police, council, community groups, charities and former gang members as part of a campaign to discourage criminality following the summer riots last year.
