A Blackburn and Darwen Council councillor faces an internal investigation and could be removed from the council's planning committee over an alleged breach of rules governing confidential information.
Cllr Paul Browne, a Liberal Democrat councillor, has been referred to the authority's legal director by Labour leader, Cllr Kate Hollern, for breaking rules governing exempt information or ‘part two' items on the planning committee's agenda.
