The engineering and support services group, Babcock, has predicted a boom in outsourcing to help the Government bring public spending under control.
The company, which bought rival, VT Group, in July, said in its latest financial results that it had been talking to various government ministers. ‘We are confident that in this environment the need for more efficient delivery of technical and support services will lead to an increased demand for outsourcing,' said the company in a statement.
